Mobile devices in the classroom

This workshop is aimed at practitioners and explores tools that can be used in the classroom for the delivery and management of learning. It considers how they can be used to meet a range of learner needs and how they can blend with traditional delivery.

How does it work?

The workshop will include:

• an opportunity to experience various classroom tools and discover their potential;
• a session where delegates will produce a learning activity or activities for their group of learners;
• a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of using the tools and whether any accessibility issues have been raised;
• the production of evaluation criteria for learners to provide feedback.
