Solution Focused Coaching and Mentoring are powerful, positive,
strengths-based, future-focused techniques that help individuals
and teams shift from being stuck looking at problems to finding
solutions that move them and the organisation forward. It focuses
on what works and how to do more of it to deliver immediate results.
We offer professional coaches to take you through these
techniques. We can also train your staff to coach or mentor others,
either within their teams or internally within the organisation.

How it works
We have considerable experience and expertise of coaching and
mentoring solutions across a wide range of public and private sectors
including the police service, National Health Service, education
and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This enables us
to deliver programmes that are tailored to your specific requirements.
Programmes include:
1. Solution Focused One-to-One Coaching
- LSN’s professional performance and leadership coaches work with
senior and middle managers over a three- to six-month period, covering
a number of sessions which are either face-to-face or on the telephone.
2. Solution Focused Internal Coaching and Mentoring
- a six-month course for those needing to deliver specialised
formal coaching to colleagues and coach/mentor internally in
their organisation outside of line management
- participants learn how to coach others to enable them to realise
their full potential in their career
3. Solution Focused Manager as Coaches
- three- to five-day courses, depending on what coaching skills
need to be developed
- explores core coaching skills managers can use with their teams
and when and how to use these skills for maximum effect (including
situational leadership)
- reviews progress and ensures skills are embedded into practice
4. 360 Degree Facilitation and Coaching Skills
- three- to four-day course explaining how to give 360 degree feedback
and follow-up coaching to others in a way that helps them develop
and identify action plans from the feedback
- follow-up training of the 360 degree facilitators in coaching skills that
enable them to quickly identify key issues and help leaders develop
actions plans and find individual solutions that work for them
5. Solution Focused Learner as a Coach/Mentor
- trains students/learners to coach/mentor other students
- thirty-minute coaching/mentoring sessions running for
two and a half days over six months
- tutors can be also be trained to support the learners as required
