LSN Centre for Innovation in Learning

Imagine a blank sheet of paper, with no past legacies, inherent structures or political obstacles. What would a learning and education system fit for the needs of the next decade look like?

The LSN Centre for Innovation in Learning is an independent think tank committed to making learning work. We generate and share ideas along with practical solutions to inform the future of learning.

Our extended network of experts works at the forefront of change and innovation in education and learning. And our powerful body of research and 25 years’ experience of delivering programmes into learning organisations underpins our work.

At the Party Conferences this year, we launched the first report on redesigning Skills Policy, “Beyond Leitch: Skills Policy for the Upturn”. You can download your copy here.

Shape the future

As the sector becomes ever more complex, it can be hard to find the time and the energy to take a step back, ask the big questions and explore new ideas.

Why not join us?

  • Share your time
  • Share financial resources through sponsorship
  • Share human resources through staff secondments
  • Share in our work – we commission specific projects

If you’d like to be kept informed about the Centre’s activities or are interested in working with us, please send your details to Sarah Gracey at sgracey@lsnlearning.org.uk or call us on 020 7492 5000

NEWS

We've launched the Centre for Innovation in Learning. At LSN we see a clear need for more debate and innovation to shape the future of learning. We believe this process will bring benefits to learners, communities and businesses. That's why we’ve created a new think tank - the LSN Centre for Innovation in Learning. As an independent think tank, the Centre provides a fertile space for innovative thinkers and practitioners to share ideas and generate practical solutions to education, learning and skills challenges. An expert panel of key thinkers from education, business, academia and politics will guide our programme of work. And the Centre will develop projects in collaboration with you. We’ll help to foster new thinking and innovation to answer the big questions in education and skills. Our thinking will be supported by practical research and investigation. There’ll also be seminars, debates, an online community, launch events, and more. Watch here for further details.
