Privacy Statement


LSN may need to handle personal information about you so that we can provide the right services for you. This Statement explains your rights and how we will look after that information.

When we ask you for personal information we will keep to the law, including the Data Protection Act 1998 and we promise to:

  • make sure you know why we need it;
  • only ask for what we need, and not to collect too much or irrelevant information;
  • protect it and make sure nobody has access to it who shouldn’t;
  • let you know if we share it with other organisations to give you better services - and if you can say no;
  • make sure we don’t keep it longer than necessary;
  • not to make your personal information available for commercial use without your permission.

In return, we ask you to:

  • give us accurate and up to date information;
  • tell us as soon as possible if there are any changes, such as a new address.

This helps us to keep your information reliable and up to date.

Your issue will be acknowledged within 3 working days of receipt. Normally we will seek to provide a substantive response within 10 working days. However, the response time may vary according to the particular circumstances of the case. Where this is likely to be more than 10 working days, you will be kept informed of the reasons for the delay and of when you can expect a full response.
