Mobile devices for e-portfolios
Overview
This participative workshop will help delegates to understand how mobile devices
can support the process of assessment. Its focuses on a practical approach to
capturing portfolio evidence as well as giving delegates an opportunity to
identify and share best practice.

How does it work?
Delegates will have an opportunity to participate in content creation, as well
as adopting a reflective approach to their own experience and that of other
delegates.
- Discussion to consider the difference between e-portfolios and personal
learning environments
- Portfolio design session and introduction to existing commercial products.
Delegates will be encouraged to share experience of products
- Exploration of open source solutions
- Presentation about media harvesting and life-blogging
- Creation of a simple portfolio using Web 2.0 tools
- Discussion as to which mobile devices push and pull content well,
