We warmly invite you to join us at an event to explore practical ways of delivering effective personal and social development, including community action placements and citizenship education, as part of Foundation Learning.
The event centres on creating community action opportunities, providing benefits to communities and young people themselves, by further developing their skills and employability, their role in the local community and by giving them a voice, a sense of personal responsibility and independence.
Featuring a practical workshop from v the national volunteers’ service, the events will provide opportunities to share experiences of community action placements and insights into practical strategies for exploring and creating a wide range of community action placements. Community action will be located in the wider context of Foundation Learning; exploring the effective delivery of wider personal and social development, in order to benefit and motivate learners.
