Starting Out
Starting Out is a unique pilot programme we’ve created at LSN. It offers mentoring and support for Maths and Science teachers who are either in training or are in the first two years of their career. If you’re an early-career teacher, this programme is specifically designed to give you more confidence in applying your knowledge and skills.
Are you keen to develop your teaching methods? Join this programme to benefit from the expertise of colleagues and networks. You can gain valuable insights and become involved in teaching communities. The programme provides face-to-face subject mentoring, e-mentoring and networked mentoring.
Starting Out is available for up to 600 early-career teachers within London, the West Midlands and East of England. To deliver the programme, we’ve selected expert mentors for their blend of teaching experience, subject knowledge and mentoring skills.
